Key management personnel have not entered into any transactions with the Trust
other than the above.
All transactions and outstanding balances with these related parties are priced on
an arm’s length basis and are to be settled in cash within six months of the reporting
date. None of the balances are secured.
The Trust has trade payables owing at balance date to Waikato Regional Council.
Peter Buckley a member of the Trust board is also the Waikato Regional Council
Chairman. These services cost $6,997 (2011: Nil) and were supplied on a normal
commercial terms.
During the year the Trust paid a grant to Waipa District Council of $24,500. Alan
Livingston a member of the Trust board is also the Mayor on the Waipa District
Council.
During the year the Trust approved a grant payment to Dairy NZ of $595,652. John
Luxton a member of the Trust board is also the Chairman for Dairy NZ.
During the year the Trust approved a grant payment to Waikato Regional Council of
$73,913. Peter Buckley a member of the Trust board is also the Council Chairman for
Waikato Regional Council.
During the year the Trust approved a grant payment to Waipa District Council of
$104,348. Alan Livingston a member of the Trust board is also the Mayor for Waipa
District Council.
During the year the Trust approved grant payments to Te Arawa River Iwi Trust of
$85,588. Roger Pikia a member of the Trust board is also a Chairman for the Te Arawa
River Iwi Trust.
During the year the Trust approved grant payments to Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board
of $252,174. Heemi Biddle a member of the Trust board is also a member for the
Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board.
These Trust board members have not been involved in the assessment of these
applications.
