MEMBERSHIP
In 1995 Waikato-Tainui numbered
approximately 20,000 members.
Since then membership has
more than tripled to now stand at
68,000. Our members live all over
the world but 60 percent reside
within the Tainui rohe. Our age
demographics mirror the national
profile for Maaori with two-thirds
of us aged 40-years and younger.
