16.1 Current Year Donations
The Trust approved donations of $11,072,515 to 651 organisations in the greater Waikato region during the year
ended 31 March 2016 (2015: $7,618,340 to 616 organisations).
An additional $217,820 (2015: $10,010) was approved for donation to further groups. However, due to a change
in circumstances the donations were refunded or withdrawn. See Note 19.3 for details.
