THE PURPOSE OF THIS EVALUATION IS TO MEET
THE STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE WAIKATO
RIVER AUTHORITY (“THE AUTHORITY”). THIS
EVALUATION HAS TWO PARTS, BEING THE RESULTS
OF MONITORING:
• the carrying out, effectiveness and achievement
of the principal function of the Authority; and
• the implementation, effectiveness and
achievement of the Vision and Strategy for the
Waikato River/Te Ture Whaimana o Te Awa o
Waikato (‘the Vision and Strategy’)
